On this episode of the show, I welcomed an extraordinary guest, Carrie Klewin Lawrence, to the show. Carrie is a woman of many talents - a stage director, acting coach, professor, personal branding coach, and author.

She's also a mother of three, and her journey is as diverse as her skills. Our conversation delved into her experiences, her personal growth, and how her unique path has shaped her career.

A Journey of Many Paths

Carrie's journey is far from linear, a common trait among entrepreneurs and artists. Her husband's 22-year military career led to numerous domestic and international relocations. Despite the challenges, Carrie found fulfillment in her work and her role as a mother. She began her career as a stage director in college, a path initially seen as a hobby rather than a viable career.

She had to overcome this perception, challenging the traditional messaging she received about pursuing a "real job."

The Influence of Place and Diversity

Carrie's personal and professional growth has been significantly influenced by the various places she has lived, including New York City and Washington, DC. We discussed the importance of diversity and connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. We also discussed the challenges of being away from a support system and its impact on

This deeply personal and powerful memoir chronicles Pastor Bill LaMorey’s transformation from brokenness to redemption and ultimately, to a life of purpose and leadership. The book is structured like a play with three “Acts”: Brokenness, Redemption, and Transformation. Throughout, he blends personal storytelling with universal truths, aiming to help others recognize the redemptive potential in their own stories.
