Tracy Kessler One Life Can Make a Difference

 Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and mother figures in this world.

 It was a sleepless night when I sat up in bed, and against my better judgment, I reached for my phone and began scrolling TikTok. I stumbled on a video of a woman saying, “Pain is the touchstone of spiritual growth." This saying got me… she - got - me. At this moment, I had been battling the effects of SADD. Seasonal Affective Disorder Depression. Over the years, I have been affected by this from time to time. It seemed like this past winter, the grips of this disorder kept pulling me down.Soon I was captivated by the positivity of this delightful woman. She was raw, open, and willing to share her story. She said that “pain is the touchstone to spiritual growth.” Tracy reminded me that to become stronger, I needed to go through feeling the feels. She reminded me gratitude is a touchpoint. Movement is key to helping your mind come through the fog. The road to putting SADD behind me is one step at a time. It is also about knowing that I needed to get help and prioritize MY well-being. I was elated to have the opportunity to speak with Tracy Kessler and share her success story with you!  Our conversation centers on the power of healing that comes from surrendering. We talked about the obstacles that we encounter in life that help us work on the “character defects” plaguing us. Tracy is open and honest about the tragedy in her life that leads her to her current life at the beach. She knows that we are all in the process of becoming what God wants us to be.  This episode is special to me because I found many commonalities in Tracy's story and my own. She is a New Yorker with a golden tender heart. Even with being busy running two companies, Tracy is an advocate for making the world a better place. She founded the “Kindness Grows Here” movement to enlighten the world that success can be achieved in parallel with kindness and that “Nice guys do NOT finish last."
